I WEEP FOR YOU

Did I hit two homeruns in a row? I've never done something like that. I mean, I'll do a great poem like Zen, then a string of lesser poems, then another Zen. But maybe I've pulled off another one--and right after? Hmmph! Strange days!
I WEEP FOR YOU
Dressed in black till the very end,
Knowing not for who or what she'll send.
Darling black rose in the shrouded mist,
Looking like one who's never been kissed.
O, I weep for you in the summer--
When it's hot, when you're cold.
O, I weep for you.
O, I weep for you.
And when the leaves blow in the sky--
Children born simply to die--
I raise my voice up on high,
Reaching notes that make me cry.
O, I weep for you in the summer--
When it's hot, when you're cold.
O, I weep for you.
O, I weep for you.
And as the day grows pale and gray,
You seem to find no other way.
Reaching for the nearest, tallest cliff,
You throw your body--you let her drift.
O, I weep for you in the summer--
When it's hot, when you're cold.
O, I weep for you.
O, I weep for you.
