Just curious to know how many Watchers have finished the book as of now.
Vote.
For the record, I have finished FR.

As soon as I got a copy it was read by the weekend, fantastic, worthy of a re-read for sure.

I took a break from KW the month of October to read and savor every page of FR.

Welcome Dead, and Be True!
(and remember the compass always points to Terrapin

)
Be careful of spoilers though, this isn't the FR forum.
I did like Matrixman, took a break for a couple of weeks from the day FR was released, through when my copy arrived and I finished it.

Relayer, glad to see there are some true believers here....yeah, I started to say more about the ending then realized it wasn't the place....it's gonna be tough waiting another 3 years for the nexst one, then 3 years after that!

Read it. Not as disappointing as Runes, but I'm not happy with it.

Read it in November, took 2 days, then read it again in January over my winter break. I actually liked it better the second time. I definitely think FR is better than Runes...the first 150 pages of that book killed me, i only kept reading because it was SRD.

I'm about two and a half to three chapters into Revenant. I've been reading it since 27th October (SRD conveniently wrote the date in the front on the day I started). That's less than a chapter per month. Should tell you something about how compelling I'm finding it. So far, it's better than Runes, but I sped through Runes, partly because it was a return to the Land, and partly because I'd borrowed the ARC from Darth and had to pass it on as quickly as possible.
Anyway, I thought Runes was fairly good, which might have been enough in an author I hadn't read before, but was a woeful let down in SRD. Revenant is better, but so far it's still far, far short of any other SRD book I've read. Even The Man Who Killed His Brother.

Just finished it. All of the revelations surprised me. I always value an author that can do that to me.

I found it a hard read. I thought the chapters were too long. I usually read a chapter or two a night, and very often had to put it down in the middle of a chapter. Plus, SRD finds every obscure word he can to say what he means...makes it very confusing. The story line is good, I will say that, and I will definitely read the next two. imjst wish they were coming out sooner.
