I'd like to thank Syl personally for everything he has done for The Tank, for The Watch, and for me in particular. As a
moderator, as a person, and as a friend you will find none other like him, and none other better than him. For everything he has done, for everything he stands for, and for who he is as a friend and fellow member, I salute you Syl. This place would not be what it is without you, and this is indeed a wonderful place.
All Hail Syl!!!

Thanks, Es. But don't forget: I'm also seven feet tall and shoot fireballs out of my...

Heh. I like to think I merely rise to the level of my fellow Watchers... on good days.
(But I think I have to move it to GenDis)

i went looking for this post of mine to see what i'd said before.
didn't want to be too awful redundant.
realized, upon finding and reading it, i'd said it just the way
i wanted to say it and can't improve on my own prose one
single solitary bit.

it strikes me that there is really only one thing for me to say
to you on such an occasion.
thank you.
i wouldn't be here had i not run into you on the bakker board.
i wouldn't have the friends i have now, a gift beyond measure.
i can't thank you enough.
here's to you, with all my gratitude
for your presence, your wit and humor, your friendship,
your advice and help, your insight, your direct manner,
and your general gunslinger-ness.
hugs and many more!!

I already showed the guy some appreciation in the Compliments thread. Do I have to do it twice?
I think that between them, Guns and Syl have been responsible for more double entendres involving pistols than anyone else. Surely that is worthy of mention.

Agreed. He's a good guy with complex and nuanced views.

I second that Brinn. And his language skills make his posts a genuine pleasure to read at times.
Thanks for the good work Syl.

You mean I have to officially appreciate Syl now? In addition to all my unofficial appreciation?

the guy who bothers me about staying on topic?

by Cameraman Jenn
That's the one. Although I must say, as a notorious thread hijacker with no sign of rehabilitation in the future, he has been very generous with not spanking me.

i grate on people. i do not look good in racy underthings. i can see why he would not assault your posting habits all that often.

Thanks for the visual, Sarge! Not the way I wanted to start my morning.
Yeah, Syl has done a very good job moderating that zoo, the Tank; as he's done in other forums.

Well, Jenn, you tend to avoid my forums, but I don't think I've ever been all that stern with anyone posting off topic. A wry comment or two, perhaps.
Heh. And thanks, guys. I feel the need for a Covenant quote about being unworthy.
