Stave and Lindens affair

I was wondering, what if Stave and Linden fall in love? I think atleast one of the humbled is Staves son. One of them will betray the other, on Lindsey's account. Remember the line, "beware the half hand." Wouldn't it be something if Elena's bone sculture is Stave and not Bannor? Elena was one of the only humans to have undergone the drink with the ranyhyn. She saw him. Remember, the drink with the ranyhyn allows prophesy. Perhaps that was the face she sculpted for TC. One that TC won't recognize until the Final Chronicles. It will be a pivotal moment.

Stave and Linden will have children by the end of it all.

Well, it's not looking good for Stave then, since Linden's number one just came back from the Dead. Let me tell you: come back from the dead, and it impresses the ladies.

Stave & Linden - She doesn't deserve him. But I have thought about that - I mean, we haven't seen any love going on involving the Haruchai - and they are lusty men...I mean prolific. Plus we don't know that Covenant will do anything but chew LA out. I know, I know, the fire's still there between LA & TC. But Stave, or any Haruchai romance would be a real spin.

Has anyone else noticed Stave's name? Its a play on the plural of staff. Linden made a new Staff of Law from the heels of the broken one. Speaking figuratively, of course, might that mean she is going to make a new breed of Haruchai from a broken one?

I think that the ten years of dreaming of Covenant will be hit with the hard face of the real Covenant. After all, (1) they've had 3,500 years to grow apart, and (2) As Sandra Bullock says, "Relationships based on extreme circumstances never work out."

So there's a real chance Linden will be available soon.

Stave's got a good chance. They've certainly antagonized each other enough for any sitcom to claim it is "sexual tension".

Liand was a prime contender, but Pahni made her move. Look for them to break up just as Stave and Linden are getting together, as Liand secretly loves Linden more, but had thought her unavailable.

I see Stave knocking Linden on her back and falling on top of her to protect her from Longwrath. Their faces are a little too close, for a little too long. Stave breaks it off, but they play eye games for the next week or so. Then one night, they ride off on their ranyhyn ...

Well, if this were the Gap, Linden and Stave would have a searing romance... Linden would get pregnant... and her child would look like... the Harrow

This story line simply must get added to the "As The World Burns" thread...

I was trying to remember, have we ever met an Hurachai woman yet? Or only heard of them.

I was thinking it was heading towards a Stave/Linden match also. TC will give his blessing before he goes back to guard the Arch.

Nope. No Haruchai women have appeared anywhere in the story.

The men really don't talk about their women. That because the women usually beat them up and drag them off by the hair to the mountain huts. They then become henpecked..

It's no wonder many have left.. They don't want to get beat up again and again! :P

Haruchai Snu-snu?

My name is not Emotional Leper, and I approve of Haruchai Snu-snu.

And he keeps telling her "you never forgive." I tell my wife that every other day

Yes! Nagging is the first requisite of any relationship destined for marriage.

And notice how, after much eye-rolling and vehemence, he always ends up doing just what Linden wants.

Perhaps the Last Chronicles can be recast in the last couple books as a Latin soap opera....
Terra Caliente!

There could be some Romeo & Juliet type romance too...

The Harrow and Infelice hook up. Even Foul shudders.
