Well... what to say? This is the culmination of two years of intense training. Martial Arts Tricking started as a hobby for me, but it has become so much more. Now, I live it. Without this sport, I would be a totally different person. And my team mates... started as just a group of people who shared an interest... now they are some of my best friends.

Here's our 2007 Sampler, I hope you enjoy: www.youtube.com/watch?v=snzo5Nsho6c

PS. We haven't actually released this to the tricking community at the time of writing, so consider this a "sneak preview". :P

Thanks Jenn :D But I have the second shortest hair in our team. My hair was shaved completely during the summer and was pretty short for most of the filming for this sampler... it's only now starting to get long again haha. :P

Pretty impressive.

How high is the injury rate in this type of sport out of curiosity? I assume they can be pretty bad when they do occur?

Put it this way: I know a lot of people who have had knee surgery, haha.

But yeah... it's mostly ankles an knees... ankle sprains and breaks, and torn knee ligaments (ACL, MCL, Meniscus, sometimes all three at once) are by far the most common major injuries.

Personally, I've had a couple of minor sprains, and am currently resting from a groin strain.

Now I am worried that I have lost my ability to pick you out of the crowd of your brethren. What are you wearing in the video?

Groin strain? 8O that doesn't sound like much fun... :?

Haha, well the footage was recorded over a number of months, so I'm wearing a bunch of different stuff. Typically grey joggers and a white tshirt (see avatar)... but andy and chris are also wearing grey joggers for a lot of the clips.

That doesn't sound very good! Hope you are back to normal pretty quick! Currently suffering a sprain/shifted joint myself and its most frustrating so I can imagine its more so for you if you want to get back to your sport!

Wow! That's totally insane (and bloody brilliant!).

My son watched it with me and was saying "WHOOOOAAAAAHHHH" the whole way through it. He's impressed. He asked if you were my friends (even though he's only 4 I think he'd like to join in) and then said "are they power rangers?".
