The
Breeders are an American alternative rock band formed in 1988 by
Kim Deal of the
Pixies and
Throwing Muses'
Tanya Donelly. The band has experienced a number of line-up changes; the current line-up consists of
Kim Deal (vocals and guitar), her twin sister
Kelley Deal (guitar and vocals),
Jose Medeles (drums and percussion) and
Mando Lopez (bass guitar);
Kim Deal has been the band's sole continual member. Their first album,
Pod (1990), received critical acclaim but was not commercially successful. The Breeders' most successful album, 1993's
Last Splash, produced the hit single "
Cannonball". In 2007, the band announced their forthcoming album,
Mountain Battles, due in 2008.

Good idea. Your spare bedroom undoubtably drives better than my car.

Glastonbury or Electric Picnic would be nice

- any conspicuous gaps in their US tour around end of June or start of September, Sarge?

But they'd probably play Reading, if any....

At the moment, I think I have about 3 hours worth of chat of how she influenced my life.
It all started when I fell in love, here.....

as you can see from the set list - plenty of old breeders, new breeders, amps & covers. i am in love with kelly - stood in front of here - by only a couple of feet. the band was having a great time. the openers were the loudest band i have ever heard! the breeders were on. plenty of highlights...
they were loud, fast and just sloppy enough. heard many favorites. enjoyed myself immensly.

Tough! I'll be far too drunk for that!
Edit - or else I'll have eloped with Kim and will never be seen on the watch again
