Darn, that last amusement park picture I posted has had its link broken...so here's another amusement park pictured.

Very cool. Where is that? (Guessing Florida or LA because of the palm trees.)

Part of the problem is the platypi. Platypuses? Platypodes? Pretending they're plausible is problematic.

Platypuses is the only platyplural that passes spellcheck. Mind you, I have my doubts about Firefox's spellcheck. Best to be on your toes.

Platypuses seems to be acceptable. I admit, they are one of the strangest creatures around (cute though!).
I hereby appoint you as the new spokesperson for this land
(don't mention the deadly creatures though...)

Australia does not exist...

by Linna Heartbooger
D'you know... I think I LITERALLY got to hear a sermon in which one example was "someone might claim Australia does not exist." (possibly because they could not see it? or they did not believe it was useful to them?)
It was a few years ago, and I was like, "Oh. I have got to tell them." (y'all.)
I would like to say that's some neat unexpected confluence.
But maybe it's not just us who have this Australia thing?

Oh, I need to do another pot of chili.
A big chunk of beef.
Lots of kidney beans.
And some green chile.
(BTW, I finally accepted that I'm now a New Mexican when I went to the grocery store with a shopping list consisting of beer and green chile and nothing else)
