Jaws is the definitive shark movie, but.....

I gotta admit, I love Deep Blue Sea, just for the way Sam (Russell Franklin) Jackson gets it.

It's worth chasing down for a few reasons, but Lucio Fulci's '70s era Zombie, has an amazing sequence where a zombie fights a shark underwater.

You won't be dissappointed. Pretty cool. That shark scene is worth the price of the rental alone.

From the golden age of "video nasties".

No, Jaws 4 was worse.

Here's the premise:
Original Shark still alive.
Brody was killed by it off screen (back story)
Mother figures out that Shark has a grudge against the family
Shark is stalking Brody family all over the world.
Shark has psychic super powers to find Brody family
Mario van Peebles stars in movie

The bold part is all you needed to say....He's been in exactly two good moves; New Jack City, which I'll give him, and Heartbreak Ridge which was good in spite of him.

If Deep Blue Sea hadn't relied so heavily on CGI shark effects I would have enjoyed it much more. Sam Jackson's unexpected end was priceless though.

Oh no doubt. The CGI work was horrendous in it, as was LL Cool J's performance.

Yeah, I didn't say it was good. Then again, I didn't say I didn't enjoy it.

But thanks!
