That sucks.

I saw him in a tiny little club back in college. Great show.

I saw him at a local event in Eugene, Oregon. It was also a fun show. :(

Gah! 41!

Never saw him in concert, but there's been two complete JHB albums in my playlist at all times since forever... but not See the Light.

So many times I’ve seen it happen
Count your blessings while you may
Just when you think you got it all
It could all get blown away
Yes it could all get blown away

Damn! I'm profoundly saddened by this news. He was a wonderful musician and used his gifts as well as anyone. People like him humble me.

Love his music. I'm putting some on right now. :(

I'm pro'ly weird, but I actually think If You Can't Feel Anything Else, Feel This is a pretty cool tune.
  • He stands like a rock and he let's it roll
He's playing for blood and he's touching her soul

When he makes his move you know he just cant miss
He says, "If you can't feel anything else, oh feel this!"
On my all time top 5 guitar riffs.

yah, very sad. He was great. And his jazz stuff was fantastic! He was a regular here in TO, as he lived here and has a bar/club in the heart of the entertainment district here.
Great guy and musician...
will be missed.

I can't believe that I'm just finding out about this. I saw him play at the Memphis in May Music Festival about 8 years ago. I've always admired him, much like Stevie Ray Vaughn, he too, will be missed. Very, very sad.
