Quenya and Sindarin

Hey do any of you know much quenya or sindarin because ive been spending quite a bit of time recently learning quenya and it'd be cool to have some people to share with 
Well.. My cat is named Lómë Luin (she is a lovely Russian Blue lady). My first idea was to call her Xena Warrior Cat, but then I decided I did not want a warrior cat in my home (think of the furniture!). My second idea (and here comes the queston) was Laihen Lómë, which I thought should mean greeneyed dusk. This however I was informed, was wrong. Can you tell my why? Sindarin/quenya mix? Grammar? Other?
