Has anybody besides me seen this? It's an old animated movie, from the 70's I think, it's been ages since I've seen it, but it crossed my mind the other day, and I managed to find it and order it from Netflix. It has some pretty funny scenes and it's too cheesy to miss out on if you get the chance and haven't seen it, do so.

Ive seen it , Ralph Bakshi (Im not sure about the spelling) I believe he also did some work on the original Animated Lord of the Rings, but Wizards was a much more adult oriented cartoon. What a wand cant do, a 9mm. can.

I love Wizards, but haven't seen it since '81 I believe there was a Heavy Metal (magazine) series on it before the movie was made.

I've read a lot of Heavy Metal magazine, (also own the movie and the sound track), but I never knew that Wizards had been in it. My favorite part....."They killed Fritz" if you've seen it, you know the rest..heheheh

Heavy Metal, yes, Wizards, I'm renting and it should be in the mail sometime this week, but I'd LOVE to have it as well.

I'm still waiting for it to arrive from Netflix, but yep, you can get it on DVD. Though Amazon may be the only other place that might have it. They shuffled some of my selections around and I got "The Blood of Heroes" instead.

I've seen it. I really like Bakshi's animation techniques, and some of the stuff in Wizards I really like. On the whole, though, I must admit, I'm not a fan of the film.

I saw it and found it interesting at the time, but none of it really stuck with me. All I remember was the twist.

Still waiting for mine to get here

haven't watched it in years, so I may change my mind about it by the time I actually get to see it again.
