Bending The Rules : Yet another Creator thread.

Bending the rule's seems to be becoming the most popular trend in the story, next to mucking about with time. Well whats good for the goose as some say may also be good for the Creator. We know that the Creator appears in the opening segments of each of the first two chronicles. We know that he cares for the fate of the Land enough to choose champions from outside to defend it against his adversary, once TC, and once LA. Both times the Land was saved, at least temporarily, and both champions were forever tied to the history, and fate of the Land.
Other threads have discussed at length the absence of the Creator, the peculiar talent for construction Lindens adopted son possesses, and the bending of established rules. I believe them all to be the same issue, and I believe that the rules may have been bent enough to allow him to enter the land without breaking the Arch, as the boy. This is the Endgame after all. The Land is doomed , without changes, it will not survive and the Despiser will gain his release. Perhaps the Creator intends to make the ultimate sacrifice for his creation, make the neccessary repairs from the inside, sealing himself , and the Despiser inside the Arch for all time.

Perhaps, in some way tieing the Arch itself to both himself and the Despiser, will accomplish this goal. That would be one possible way for the TC Trinity to merge, as has been intimated will happen.

If you put a peice of tape on a balloon, you can push a needle through it without popping the balloon. The drawback is the moment you do that the balloon begins to shrink.

That is an excellent and insightful analogy. You now have my mind boggling with the sheer amount of possibilities this statement implies.
I really hope something like this happens now.

Just musing here, but it seems to me that this might be possible.
Depending on the validity that Jeremiah's mind has been in the Land ever since he first created that arch thing in his room out of the tracks that Linden bought him, this event might have been that tape over the balloon whereby the needle was able to slip in.
But I don't know if the Creator would enter the Land in that way. So much talk was made about possession being evil in the Second Chronicles, I can't really see the Creator doing that to another person. Wouldn't he have to in order to enter the Land "as the boy"?
Still, I like the possibility.

I was ready to dismiss this theory because of the posession angle, but in the Second Chronicles Linden used posession to keep Covenant from blasting the Starfares Gem out from under them, and killing them all. So there is at least the chance that some good can come of evil means. Also ( and Ive been back and forth over this one ) , "Evil" posession requires some one to currently be using their mind, perhaps the boy was a blank page .

Or maybe the Creator just used the boy as a vessel, and is now afoot in the Land in some way that we can't fathom. His fleeting inhabitance of Jeremiah in the crossover gave Jeremiah the magic he now wields in the Land. Then again, how much of that magic is his and how much is the croyel's?
Naahh, that all sounds like too much, too easy for an SRD solution.
Still, I like the idea of the Creator having some sympathetic relationship with Jeremiah, that he's in the Land in some way, which is why we didn't see him make an appearance at the beginning of TROTE.

I've long felt that the reason the Creator didn't make an appearance is because he spoke to someone else, and that it likely is Jeremiah. And since Jere can't really interact, what better way than in his mind?

If indeed this does turn out to be the case, then it would also mean that Lindens quest to save her son (selfish is how the haters describe it), is in fact a quest to save the Creator himself. Whether she realizes it or not.

I also dont believe the speculation's that the Creator intends to destroy, and then recreate the Earth this time. If that was an option for him, I think he would have done it by now. But recreation would make " What has gone before..." irrelevant. The choices, and sacrifices, the tragedies, and triumphs... all for nothing. I dont buy it. Covenant may have burned, and renounced his own work, but I doubt Donaldson is out to trash his own.
