I thought it might be OK if I posted this here, as the Hangar and Watch are sister sites.
Anyway, Vain has gifted the Hangar with shiny new home, filled with great new features.
Come drop by and check it out!
And if you are a fan of LeGuin's Earthsea or Herbert's Dune, come join the group reads!

And KW isn't?
*where's a matching ceiling kat pic when you need one*
We're taking the latest version of this board's software for a drive at the Hangar. I was planning on implementing it here at KW but I'm having second thoughts as the conversion isn't very friendly and will take an age to update properly. I will wait for them to have a better method to convert before I leap in.
It also doesn't have all the features and modifications that KW has - these will develop over time I think so we may have to play a wait and see game

I like KW's look much better, but I told you that already elsewhere.

I never said that! In fact, I've said several times that I like what you've done here.

You can switch it to subsilver Menolly and then it will look like the Watch.

Thanks danlo, I found that out.
...now if I can only somehow switch the Quick Reply window to the bottom of the page instead of the top...
(yeah, yeah, I know, I know. bitch, bitch, bitch, that's all I do)

Ask and you shall receive!
I, uhm, can't see what I asked to be hidden now myself, even though as a mod I
should be able to see it...

...uh...what does the day of the week have to do with anything?

That had occurred to me.
Personally, apart from the Quick-Reply being in the wrong place, I'm loving the new Hangar. (Using the watch-like subsilver2 appearance.)

I hate change, but yeah. Switching to subsilver2, and getting sorted out, things are starting to become interesting. The Quick Reply is frustrating though. Seems silly to have to scroll back up to reply after reading the current messages...

Hey guys, mayhaps the Hangar is best suited to this discussion?

Ditto. The new Hangar looks pretty but it's hard to read and gives me a headache.

What? Have you changed the appearance of the Hangar in your profile MsMary? Makes it look much more like the phpBB V2 we were using before. (The subsilver2 theme.)

I understand what MsMary is talking about Av. Before I changed the skin to subsilver, the other skin had this scrolling text icon to signify a busy thread. I told Vain privately it triggered my motion sickness. That's when I learned of changing the skin.
The subsilver is fine. Although I like all the work Vain has done with the graphics in the borders on the Watch more than the generic subsilver skin now.

Yeah, the subsilver2 theme is better.
