This is in response to the "worst idea anyone ever had". Not all ideas should be thrown out. There are some brilliant inventions out there.
For starters, I've always liked bubble wrap.

Bubble wrap is awesome! Especially as a stress reliever.
The microwave oven.
Oh! And the Thermos! It keeps hot things hot, and cold things cold. But how does it know?
