Ok guys, just a heads up that the backup forum has been migrated to a new host. I've updated the original post, and here's the new backup forum link:

kevinswatch.fr.yuku.com/

Please update your bookmarks or whatever you use to keep a note of where the backup forum is, (because obviously you won't be able to access this link if the Watch is down.

All members of the backup forum, your profile still exist. You should be able to log in with your existing details. If you have probs, use the password reset link on the log-in page. If you still have probs, PM me here or email me. (PM is faster.)

If anybody is not a member of the backup forum, I suggest signing up. We don't need it often, but it's nice to have.

(It's a forum to use if anything happens to the Watch...for news on what's wrong and who broke it and when it'll get fixed.)

The new forum is..uh..new, so I don't know how everything works. If you have problems signing up (new members) or anything, let me know here and I'll try figure it out.

So that email from Yuku was legit?
Fascinating.

Yep. Wasn't anything to do with us, I think the previous hosts got bought out or something. Luckily I log in to the backup once a month to keep it active, so I saw the message before the form expired.

I wasn't sure, as the wording on the email said:
To get started, just click the link below and log into your new Yuku account with the password that was previously sent to you
This was the first email I received from them. I never received an email from them with a password. If they meant to use the one I already had on the previous forum (which worked when I tried), I believe they should have said that, instead of saying one was sent to me previously.

I thought Yuku was spamming me, too. Thanks for the clarification, Av.

I knew I wasn't being spammed, cause another of my forums moved to Yuku a while back.

I'm all updated. :)

Looks like this doesn't work anymore, gives an error: "Oops, no Groups found under the name 'kevinswatchfr'."

Recently I saw a post in the KW Facebook group by Menolly that KW went down, tried this Yuku board, and also writing to the KW admin email, got no reaction, though the Watch became available again soon, possibly by itself, perhaps it was some temporary issue.

However, I thought it was better to mention it here in case new issues happen.

Perhaps if keeping a spare board is too much of a problem, how about going to that same Facebook group in that case? Or maybe someone has some other ideas?

Nice to see you around. Yeah, the spare board has been probably been defunct for a while. Saw the database error on Friday, they usually sort themselves out. You can always mail me, but I don't check this address that often.

Facebook is probably the best bet for temporary reconnection.

Ok, back-up forum also replaced by the discord:

https://discord.gg/hZkCbje

That link should give you access to an area where you can request your credentials.

As per WF's tip, it might be a good idea to first create an account on www.discord.com and be logged in before you click on the invite.
