Wasn't that coming up in the next week or so? I vaguely remember getting an e-mail from this forum about it, but I can't find it now. Figured I'd ask.

-Celebration of Spring: the Dance of the Wraiths of Andelain on the dark of the moon in the middle night of Spring.

The middle night of Spring is around May 5-6 and behold!! the dark of the moon is the same night!! Blessed be this most auspicious happenstance, it is beyond my ken to grasp the significance of such synchronicity. We must travel at once to Andelain.
So yes it is this year...many people have been wondering this- we need a special occasion (other than Cinco de Mayo(hic)) to pay tribute-I think we all need to climb up on our roofs and get naked at 12am  .

...danlo...

If I could, I would come out to Albuquerque and go with you to Valles Caldera at the appropriate time. You never know what you might just see...

*sigh*

Surprise!

I'm back. I had a bad case of burnout some time ago which led me to vanish from these forums rather abruptly. So here are my belated apologies.

Happy Baras Nimoram! :)

No. General burnout. It totally paused my engineering studies and other intellectual pursuits were collateral damage. :( I've finally started to recover.

Jocund Banas Nimoram, everyone!

Nerdanel must be a Wraith, because she came out of reclusion to dance with us! Good for you, Nerdanel.

Other Banas Nimoram traditions are the giving of white gold dollars, and the decorating of Gilden trees with large, obscure words.
