A sad day for movies. The man had a brilliant carreer as director, actor and producer.
Despite not liking all his movies, I truly admired the man and his passion for movies.

I agree, on all accounts. I didn't like everything he did, but he was a towering force in American cinema. Certainly a sad loss.
