Erm...I suspected as much but...
How old a logo?

OK then, the sport I follow is mainly American football.

Pro in order of preference...

Not nearly computer literate enough to attempt this, but if you google 'South SYdney Rabbitohs' you'll get to the home of the pride of the NRL. You could even become a member...

Nav, the Farnborough logo is gorgeous.
I know there are reasons for why a logo is chosen.
Can you tell me the type of flower depicted and why it is the team's logo?

The fern leaf represents the ferns that gave the town it's original name, Ferneberga, and features in the town's crest as well (the local heraldric crests are detailed on this page www.civicheraldry.co.uk/hants_ob.html). The flower is a Dog Rose, which is the county flower of Hampshire, it can be seen more clearly on the County's flag:

Every county in the UK and Northern Ireland has a wild flower emblem, some date back a lot further than others (i.e. the War of the Roses between the red of Lancashire and the white of Yorkshire), but they are all shown on this nice poster: County Flowers

I'm looking forward to the July 5th, when we'll be playing a match and putting on a display at the Aldershot Army Show. Apparently there's always a lot of competition between the different local clubs and the Army teams.
