Could Certain Characters In The Land Be From The Real World?

Since the Creator originally offered to allow Covenant to live out his life in the LAND I've wondered...how many other characters might be originally from the Real World? Dozens even hundreds of the characters we have come to know in the Land might have actually been translated in the past for one reason or another.
Caerroil Wildwood - Originally a grumpy Postal Worker who hated dogs because they chased and bit him frequently. Since dogs like to urinate on trees...
Accidentally run over by his own mail truck.
High Lord Prothal - Originally a fortune 500 company executive that cracked his skull on the railing of his 50 foot yacht while seasick. Never to recover.
Warmark Quaan - Originally a U.S. Navy Seal who was accidentally sucked into the intake of an enemy Hydrofoil as he was trying to a attach an explosive. Thought to have been strained to death.
Loresraat Elder Corimini - Originally Professor of Ancient Languages. Wrote an acclaimed fantasy novel but was knocked unconscious and lapsed into a coma after a tragic book signing accident.

Well OBVIOUSLY Kasryen of the Gyre was from Our world.
Probably it was another failed summonsing for Covenent. I'll bet it was a Bratharian who somehow heard about the White Gold Wielder and how he had saved the Land. He decided he'd try to summon him the BRatharealm to save the day.
I'll bet, Kasryen, in our world was some sort of Ne'er do well, who just never got anything quite right.
And like Covenant, the only thing he had left from HIS marriage, was his Yellow Gold ring.

Drew brought up a point that has had me doing some hard thinking about the Kemper. He had gold circles, and he told a mentally-absent Thomas Covenant that it existed nowhere in the world but in his laborium, other than in the ring that Covenant bore. So if Kasreyn was NOT from our world, how did he get the gold? It is unknown to anyone else. I'm sure his gold was yellow gold, more pure than TC's, but weaker by its very nature. Yellow gold is softer and more pliable and therefore more easily damaged than white gold. I am hoping some light will be shed on the Kemper's gold in the next two books. Was any of it recovered after the destruction of the Sandhold? Did Foul get hold of it, knowing it could be a weapon, although still no match for white gold? Like the Illearth Stone, he could combine it with his evil to increase it mightily. Exciting stuff to consider, huh?

Until the Final Chronicles, I harbored a nagging suspicion that the Guardian of the One Tree, ak-haru Kenaustin Ardenol could be from the "real" world: That middle name of his could be derived from "Ken Austin".

I think he said that gold was a very rare metal in the Land's world and that he spent his life collecting it to make himself more powerful. There was some in the Barathair desert and that was the reason why he became their leader and got rid of the sand gorgons. He wasn't a native-Baratharian.

But seriously, folks. From the beginning it was my suspicion that Kevin Landwaster was summoned from our world, but then I found out that he was descended from the Old Lords, so I had to let that one go. However, it never occurred to me that the OLs could have come to our world and returned. Why not!!! what a cool thought. Good call, Blackhawk.
Certainly SRD leaves the door open for other translations. I mean, Hile Troy... random. So why not!

I thought he said that nowhere else was
so much of it found. Now I'll have to go home and check...

In The One Tree was wrote:"You have seen," the Kemper continued as he worked, "that I possess an ocular of gold. Purest gold-a rare and puissant metal in such hands as mine. With such aids, my arts work great wonders, of which Sandgorgons Doom is not the greatest."
... "But you possess white gold." Behind their rheum, his orbs seemed to have no color. "It is an imperfect metal-an unnatural alliance of metals-and in all the Earth it exists nowhere but in the ring you bear."
So: white gold is found nowhere but Covenant's ring. I don't think he said where he found the regular gold, only that it is rare.

With one hand, he made a slow, unthreatening gesture toward his chair. "Have you observed my preparation?" His manner was firm. "Such gold is rare in the Earth. Mayhap it may be found no otherwhere than here. Therefore came I hither, taking the mastery of Bharathairealm upon myself. And therefore also do I strive to extend my sway over other realms, other regions, seeking more gold. With gold I perform my arts."
So gold existed in Bharathair before Kassrayen came there. The "here" refers to this land, not to the chamber they are in. It exists in other lands in smaller amounts as well.
Why is White Gold impossible to create? Is there no silver in the Land-world? It seems more likely that they cannot meld two metals together.

Commonly used alloys for Gold;
White Gold - Regular gold plus (Copper + Zinc + Nickel) or (Silver + Palladium) or (Zinc + Nickel + Titanium) or (Copper + Zinc + Nickel) or (Silver + Zinc + Palladium) or other variants. It differs world wide. But it does use a bright metal to strengthen and lighten the color.
Just Gold and Silver (75% + 25%) will produce what is called
Green Gold
There is a
Black Gold (not crude oil variant) also called
Grey gold
Purple gold (also called amethyst or violet gold) is an alloy of gold and aluminium. Gold content is around 79% and can therefore be referred to as 18 carat gold. Purple gold is more brittle than other gold alloys, and a sharp blow may cause it to shatter. It is therefore usually machined and faceted to be used as a 'gem' in conventional jewellery rather than by itself. Blue gold is similarly an alloy, this time between gold and indium
.
Rose Gold..
The highest carat version of rose gold is also known as crown gold, which is 22 carat. 18 carat rose gold may be made of 25% copper and 75% gold. For 18 carat rose gold, typically about 4% silver is added to the 75% gold and 21% copper to give a rose color. 14 carat red gold is often found in the Middle East and contains 41.67% copper.
Highest version of
Yellow gold is 23 carats. It is 99% or more of natural gold and the rest is Palladium. Pure gold rings do not last. It needs to be an alloy. Gold is a soft metal so the Palladium is used so the ring keeps it basic shape.

Cool info, urDead. I knew some of that already, being a gem/mineral hound of sorts, but not about the purple and blue gold varieties. Nickel is also widely used in silver alloys, as silver is very malleable and cannot sustain a shape without nickel, or some other base metal, to strengthen it. There are many colors of gold on the market now; at the time the first TC book was written, and correct me if I am wrong, pretty much all you saw was yellow or white gold. Little rose gold was around, and none of the other colors. And yellow was overwhelmingly the most popular. After I read some books a co-worker just brought me, I'm going to dive back into the Chrons from LFB again. I never tire of them, and I'll pay special attention to the 2nd Chrons and the mention of gold during their stay in Brathairealm. (I'm sure I spelled that wrong.) But it's quite interesting to think that some of the Land's citizens came from our world. Maybe Linden will discover more of them in the Final Chrons. Or she will travel through time and bring some with her. You never know. Too bad we have so long to wait to find out........

I dont think there are any we dont know of in the first and second chrons.
In the third, we have many: Roger, Joan, Jeremiah. I am wondering if Sherriff Lytton is going to show up.
