I'm on an Iron Man binge. In the last week and a half I've bought:

Hypervelocity, TPB by Adam Warren and Brian Denham
Iron Man, Director of Shield, Haunted TPB by Knauf and de la Torre
Iron Man, Director of Shield TBP by Daniel Knauf and Roberto de la Torre
Invincible Iron Man, Extremis TPB by Warren Ellis and Ali Grandy
Invincible Iron Man, Disassembled TPB by M. Hands
Iron Man, Legacy of Doom #2 and #3 by Micheline, Layton, Lim (hee, fun!)
Invincible Iron Man, Vegas Bleeds Neon #1, #2, #3 by Laws and Teranishi
Invincible Iron Man #2 by Fraction, Larroca and D'Armata
Invincible Iron Man #1 by Fraction, Larroca and D'Armata
Iron Man, Director of Shield #30 by Moore and De la Torre
Iron Man, Director of Shield #29 by Moore and De la Torre
New Avengers, Illuminati TBP by Bendis, Reed and Cheung
Iron Man: Viva Las Vegas #1 by Jon Favreau and Adi Granov

I also picked up the final issue of Tomb of Dracula (one of my favorite series ever) from an Obscurity Bin for $2. So that was a score but it made me a feel a little wistful.

As rte: current Iron Man: Roberto de la Torre's work just blows me away. He's got a classic Modesty Blaise thing going that just kills. I love this dude.

Yeah, free comic day inspired my local shop (so local now I can walk to it) to do a $1 sale.

Master Of Kung-Fu: 15, 16, 17, 67, 70-71, 78-80, 82-86, 89, 91-100, 111-124

Richard Dragon, Kung-Fu Fighter: 1, 4, 6, 11

Avengers: 194

Marvel Premiere: 18

I think I'll be hitting the Thor pretty heavily next sale.

the first two seem related. :) who was in the Marvel Premiere and the Avengers. (was it a Korvac issue?)

Richard Dragon is a DC character; Shang Chi is Marvel. Premiere 18 is Iron Fist. The Korvac saga ended in Avengers 176; 194 is one of those 'day in the life' issues.

I know Dragon and Chi. :)

I believe has revived Dragon at some point in the last decade.

Chi was in Heroes for Hire recently.

I really enjoyed Avengers back then. a nice mix of the powerful (Thor, Iron Man) and the not-so (Wasp, Beast)

Perez art always helps as well.

They were inferior in every way to the Avenger's team I founded and led.

you mean the one you got booted from?

I liked the Captain America, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye, Quicksilver team.

That was arguably the weakest Avenger's line-up, ever. Still, I think it would have been enjoyable if it weren't for Stan Lee's handling of it. Captain America's constantly thinking about quitting to join S.H.I.E.L.D, Hawkeye's constantly trying to undermine Cap's authority, and Quicksilver's his usual pompous ass-holiness. Scarlett was fine, though, if a bit haughty. I really preferred it a few issues later when Giant-Man and Wasp rejoined, and Hercules was added. Stan had to feel more comfortable writing with a genius on the team, a married couple, and a heavy hitter. Probably felt just like the FF to him.

Of course, my favorite Avengers run is from 140-200, and that team was in complete disarray for a lot of that run.
