I hadn't heard there was a movie coming out, but it's out. This was a seriously disturbed comic book!!! Heh. I thought we had at least mentioned it somewhere. Maybe in a thread about comics in general? Or writers, when Mark Millar was mentioned? Anyway, about as brutal as things get.

I didn't realise the film was based on a comic! Haven't seen it yet but I have heard the film is pretty good.

the previews so far don't seem to match the comic book all that much.

No, they don't. If it wasn't for the title, I wouldn't have assumed it was anything other than an assassin movie.

i'm guessing the super villains / heroes motif has been changed?
