I jest. Geographically, SA is in Africa, but culturally, in many ways it is very European. Of course, the same could be said of Egypt, which is in Africa, but culturally is more Middle Eastern than African. But then, in a way I'm limiting "African" to meaning, ancestor-revering Bantu-type people living a proto-feudal village life; which is really not fair of me. Africans are very diverse. Fulani are about as different from Yoruba, culturally and even appearance-wise, as Greeks from Irish.
