Perhaps his has been round once before, but I saw a doco last night about bacteria and it touched upon an African tribal remedy against Leprosy by the application of a certain mud, known to the elders of the tribe. It apparenetly has some real benefit by the immune systems being strengthened making it better equipped to deal with hostile bacteria.

No real point more FYI, but sounds like genuine source material SRD may have based Hurtloam on.

Mud used as a defense against Leprosy?? Are the tribal members compelled to run out and rape teenage girls after applying the mud?? If so, then the connection would just be uncanny.....
