Thought this was kind of interesting. Haven't gone all the way through it yet though.....had to stop at Georgia. WTF? They pick REM over the Allman Brothers? What were they smoking.
They got Alabama right with Hank Williams tho!

Oh come on. I don't know Morphine, but the Pixies were way better than bloody Aerosmith.

Should have been Aerosmith for MA.
Oh ... what Luci M said.
Pixies are tiny, annoying insect-like things that you swat.

While I don't fully agree with the Kansas one, I do respect and appreciate the Embarassment. I'd probably pick the Rainmakers myself. Hell, they were featured in a Stephen King book.

I can hardly trust your judgement on this, since Hendrix and his Experience has never done anything for me.

I'm no musician, so I probably hear him differently. To me, he sounds like he should still be taking lessons. Or he's playing using a haddock instead of his hands.

Cov, don't put up with her crap. Some 3 piece bands, like RUSH, have drums, percussion, keyboards, synthesizers, guitars, bass, and vocals. Most others were guitar/bass/drums. The Police was a great example of a 3 piece. Cream was cool, too; just a little busy sometimes. ELP was 3 piece, but used keyboards instead of guitars. As for Hendrix, you prolly couldn't even hear him over that horrible bassist he used. Thank God he finally fired that guy and got his old bassist back!

MY point, mr. bassnut, is that morphine and areosmith both beat the pixies for mass. bands. hands down. easily. where is rush from again?
NOT massa...massachutesets...however you spell it.
ps..
police = bass/guitar/drums
cream = bass/ guitar/drums
rush = bass/ guitar/ drums
hendrix = bass/ guitar/ drums
elp? heh. i went to sleep at an elp concert. snnnooooozer.

I just checked Colorado (strange how I didn't think to do that despite living here for almost a third of my life). Surprisingly, they got it exactly right. I figured they'd throw Big Head Todd in there. Thankfully, they didn't.
