Rolling Stone has hit bottom again

Way back in the day I absolutely loved this magazine, it was critical, it made or broke careers, it had some interesting political slants and especially it had Hunter S. Thompson. In '77 (I think, maybe earlier) it came out with it's all "Disco" issue and I canceled my subscription.
I still look at it at the stands from time to time--but it reminds me of MTV, used to be all about the music now it's all about the shlock. I'm reading a copy that was mistakenly delivered to me just now by the mailman. It's thoroughly appalling with the f-ing Jonas Brothers on the cover. No, I've never heard them, and yes I hear they made a lot of money, but this is music?
