I've added a current experience section to the "current players" thread.

It'll be updated whenever someone gets some experience and at the end of every fight.

Cool idea. Any chance you can switch the list of players and the XP list around? That way, the XP list will show up in the thread preview as it'll be at the top...

Thanks.

Just wanna remind everybody to remember to remove things like spent arrows/bolts from their inventories, and add things like the lanterns.

Pretty sure I've been doing so accurately...

Haven't looked. Just occurred to me that it might need mentioning, as I did it myself. :D (Adjusted your weight? )

OK, now I'm lost.

What needs adjusting for my weight?

As you carry more or less stuff, the amount of weight you're carrying changes. With varying impacts on your speed of movement etc.

Ah...that's right.

I can't find my various limits.
Where did I see them initially? I don't see them on my character sheet...

Look up "Carrying Capacity" in the rules...

Got it.
Still falling under "Light" load.
...barely...

~*~edit~*~

Oh wait...

Charn is currently carrying my hooded lantern, right?
Do I temporarily remove that from my inventory?

Won't change your load class, so I wouldn't bother unless he doesn't give it back. ;) But he will. Clerics always do. If they're Good. ;)

Nathan wrote:[you can't really hold out much hope of finding magical weapons at level 1].
:LOLS: I was surprised to find Masterwork weapons at this level to be honest.

As a newbie, I have no real idea why level effects the chances of finding things, but Nathan and I are discussing it. So, I'll learn...

I think Pam did a great work... the characters don't know that they are "1st level characters" and so they act without think on the numbers like some players and master do... i'm that kind of person too because if i were Pam i had not used the detect magic... but Irian saw those "special items" and thought that they could hide something more...

That would be a character expectation versus a player meta-expectation.

To a player, that would be like presenting a shiny new Lamborghini Testarossa to a teenager who just got his drivers license. It can happen, but it just isn't <done> :).

To a character, however, there is no such analysis - things are things. But, character reactions/expectations might also depend on how rare magical items are in Nathan's campaign world, right?
