I don't miss much about back east, but I do miss Beach Haven and the Jersey shore!

Wow! That's a gorgeous swimming hole Fist!! Wish I could go there.
I'm with Holsety on this one though: the southern ocean is my swimming hole (although we also have an inlet to swim in as well).

BTW I have been to freshwater swimming holes and they are fun. But the ocean is really my favorite due to 1: salt water in my eyes, 2: getting pounded by waves, 3: getting pounded into the dirt and pebbles while making pathetic attempts at bodysurfing on the mildest of waves.
Swimming in the ocean in the rain is incredibly awesome too (though you wanna get everyone out of the pool if the lightning comes guys, because it's hard to lightning squat in the water).
