On my current read-through of 'The Illearth War' (Probably my favourite individual book in the series) there's this quote by Elena:

"In it's own way, the Keep is as impervious to defeat as Foul's Creche is said to be - in the old legends. This is vital, for the legends also say that the shadow of Despite will never be wholly driven from the Land while Ridjeck Thome, Lord Foul's dire demense, endures."

IIRC, Foul's Creche was destroyed at the end of TPTP. Which is why Foul took up residence in Mount Thunder for the Second Chronicles.

Darn housing shortages..

Blame TC's urban renewal.

On that topic of Ridjeck Thome.. has anyone a copy of the atlas of the Land that was done by (insert forgotten author/illustrator's name here)?...
I was alwas impressed with her mapping (with SRD's help) of that place. Very impressive.

The Atlas of the Land is fantastic - an artefact to treasure. Maybe one of the lost Wards ;-)

Here's a wiki entry on the author of the Atlas. Sadly she passed away just over 2 years ago.

TC destroying both the Illearth Stone Ridjeck Thome are two of the most underrated achievements in all the Chronicles I believe.

Think about the power that was unleashed!

Since Ridjeck Thome was destroyed, does that mean we'll see the destruction of Revelstone?
