Weretiger's Curse - The Night of the Full Moon

The blacksmith eventually finishes all the things he said he would. It's now dusk, and the moon will soon be up in the sky, shining down on your heroic selves while you set a trap for a tiger. Hoping that the beast will act predictably and allow you to spring it.

You all collect your silvered-up equipment, including Vargon's spiked armour, and take yourselves to the square.

[Could everyone please tell me which square they're standing on, where the crate is, where the rope is tied, etc.]

"My friends," the rogue said, "I propose the following:

Rope - Town Square - 20 right, 1st row

Crate (Vargon) - 16 right, 2 down. (?)

Northern Doors (Cleric) (15&16 Right above 1st row)

Caamora - 17 right, 3 down. (?)

Irian - 15 right, 1 up from 1st row. (?)

Xavier - 21 right, 2 down

I also propose that Vargon find some cow-dung to roll in, and disguise his scent. In fact, I propose that we all do so save Caamora."

"Would not some of this horse-dung about the square be as effective? Moonrise is close, and trudging to a pasture and back may take too much time..."

"If there is horse-dung, by all means let us use it."

"Xavier, i think it's fine. Your disposition is as i thought it"

There's no horse dung here. Tethil is only a small town and you haven't really seen many horses about.

nope.

You could travel south to the farms, but it'd be a couple of hours there and back.

"Hmmm...we should definitely have something to hide our scent...Irian..perhaps the apothecary can help us?"

In the meantime, Xavier positioned the crate. "There...now the monk has a door to run to no matter which way the tiger approaches...either west to the empty building, or north to the Cleric's doorway."

As the last light of the sun disappears, the moon suddenly comes into view, an orb in the sky, brighter than you seem to remember it.

Moments later you hear a loud roar! It seems to be coming from the direction of the apothecary.

Irian had opened her Healers Kit, and rummaged through what was there, looking for an herb or tincture that could be used to disguise their scent. Finding none, she turned to Charn and asked if he should have any.

Glancing towards the setting sun, Irian hustles to find Roger, the apothecary. He shakes his head at her request, and says he had naught of that nature, as he relies on his magical abilities to heal people.

Irian hustles back to the square, and informs Xavier of her failure to find anything.

Irian jumps at the sound, then her countenance takes on a grim cast. Her suspicions seems to be coming firm. She only prayed if it was the sheriff who made that sound, that he was the original tiger, and not potentially a second one...

Looking towards Xavier for a signal to take position, she climbs the rope and takes position where he had specified. Removing her crossbow and box of bolts, she loads a bolt and leans on the roof's parapet (hoping my building has a low parapet), scanning the square.

"Never mind. We haven't any time. Places everybody."

Scrambling up the rope, the Rogue crouched on his rooftop, and nocked an arrow. He hoped the hawk was watching too...an advance warning of it's direction might help.

Suddenly you notice that there's a tiger in the square 70ft away from caamora! The thing must have been creeping along silently for you not to have seen it before!

[We're now in battle time, and I'd like everyone to head over to the Tiger fight thread for some arse-kicking.]
