Charn will cast Enlarge Person on Vargon.

Future actions are to try to stay near Vargon, attacking robbers with mace if they get in range, and casting CLW on anyone who is seriously hurt.

[dammit, I have a teacher conference at Beorn's school now...]

I don't know if Detect Magic works on beings, or only items, but if it can determine if someone is a spell caster, I cast that first for as long as it is safe for me to study her. If threatened, I don Mage Armor.

If she is a spell caster, I prepare to cast Magic Missile at anytime she casts a spell.

I'd like to act after Charn casted upon me Enlarge Person, then i will move to cover Irian and wait for the enemy approach.

[back. I assume we're waiting for caam and Xavier?]

I would like to learn the school the auras about the Wizard (assuming that is what the 'W' stands for) are affiliated with, so if I can concentrate on Detect Magic for three rounds while Vargon covers me, do the appropriate spellcraft checks please.

Shouting to Vargon to close fast, and not wait for them, since using their crossbows, they won't need to approach, Xavier moves to the East, and begins loosing arrows at the men in turn,

Suspecting that the Woman, is a magic-user, and since the only other ranged weapon in their party seemed to be the Elf's bow, and she would be focussing on the magic-user, he attempts to at least distract the mens aim until Vargon and Caam can engage them

As far as possible, he'll attempt to avoid melee, but if any of the opponents come within melee range of him, he will draw his rapier and engage them.

If the woman is neutralised fast, he will attempt to flank the men, otherwise he will switch to loosing at her once the men are engaged.

[Round 1]

Irian casts detect magic. She detects the presence of magical auras.

Bandit 1 shouts "That one's casting a spell! Get them!" and fires his crossbow at Irian. She manages to dodge the bolt. He reloads

Bandit 2 fires his crossbow at Irian and misses by a large margin. He reloads

Bandit 3 fires his crossbow at Irian and hits. She takes 5 damage and falls unconscious.

Xavier moves 30ft to the east and then fires an arrow at Bandit 3. He hits and deals 4 damage

The woman walks up behind Bandit 3 and casts a touch spell on him. Brother Charn Recognises it as Cure minor wounds

Charn casts enlarge person on Vargon and Vargon grows to double his normal size!

Vargon moves over to stand in front of Irian. He is now covering her.

[well fudge. just how useless can one get?]

*drops head in resignation*

"Vargon! Take on the foe! I will attend to Irian!"
Brother Charn will cast CLW on Irian at the next opportunity.

Vargon charges M3 and try to strike W (he's large and he should have reach).

"Charn, i will take your life if Irian dies!"

Leaving the melee to the fighter and the cleric, Xavier begins loosing arrows at the woman. He plans to continue doing so until she is incapacitated, or until he is forced into melee.

[Round 2]

Irian is dying.

Bandit 1 fires his crossbow at Vargon and misses entirely! He reloads

Bandit 2 fires his crossbow at Vargon and the shot bounces off his armour. He reloads.

Bandit 3 fires his crossbow at Vargon and manages to hit a weak spot in his armour. The shot deals 4 damage.

Xavier fires an arrow at The woman. He hits and deals 6 damage. The woman looks badly hurt.

The woman casts a spell in a burst around her. Charn recognises it as Bless.

Charn cast Cure light wounds on Irian and she is restored to full health (but is still lying prone on the floor).

Vargon runs at top speed towards Bandit 1.

[End of Round 2]

Three bolts and the big fighter recieved only a single wound...the rogue shook his head...some people were luckier than they knew.

Shaking his head to clear it, he aimed again at the woman and loosed another arrow.

Groggily becoming aware of her surroundings , Irian slowly rises and staggers five feet to her left (right on the map) then seeing the crossbows trained on the party, casts Mage Armor upon herself in preparation to rejoin the battle. "Vargon!! she screams in terror, as she sees the burly fighter take a bolt.

Vargon charges the nearest bandid in the next round.
"Milady... don't warry i will be fine! Take care of your life!"
He said, but a hacking cough shakes his body during the run...

I keep forgetting you can't take a five foot step and move in the same turn, unless you use your standard action as a move as well...
get rid of the move to the left on the map, so Irian only stands and casts Mage Armor on herself this turn [/ooc]

*shakes head*

Charn moves to block any shot that the crossbow-wielders might have against Irian, brandishing his mace at the foe. He shouts,
"Stay your hands, lest the light of day be struck from your eyes!"

[Round 3]

Irian stands up, takes a 5ft step to the left and casts mage armour on herself.

Bandit 1 fires his crossbow at Vargon and hits. He does 4 damage.

Bandit 2 fires his crossbow at Vargon and hits. He does 3 damage.

Bandit 3 fires his crossbow at Vargon, but it clangs off his armour.

Xavier fires an arrow at The woman. He hits and deals 8 damage! The woman collapses to the floor, senseless.

Charn moves to block the attackers' view of Irian.

Vargon charges Bandit 1 and slashes him with his longsword dealing 13 damage! The bandit falls backwards theatrically and lands in a pile on the dirt.

[End of Round 3]

Seeing the first bandit and the woman fall to the ground unconscious, Irian strings her new longbow and notches an arrow [ooc]thanks for reminding me, Beorn! eek[/ooc] and fires at the third bandit.

Time to see what this baby can do...

Vargon looks to his wounds and take a painful long breath.
It is strange... he see like if there was a light fog around him..
His blood is dripping to the ground...
"Irian... i really would say to you more than i did... but i fear i will never have the time..." he thinks in his mind...
"Farewell, milady" he says looking toward the elf with a sad smile painted on his face.

Knowing that this could be the last fight Vargon charges the next bandit.
