More fuel for THOOLAH - It's all Linden's fault!

So I'm re-reading the Second Chronicles, and practically the first thing that's said about Linden is that she believes that Blood is Life, and not to be wasted.

Hence the Clave sacrificing blood to the Sunbane!

Why couldn't she have believed that Jello is life, and so the Clave's depradations in the land would have been both more acceptable, and more jiggly!

can you imagine how much jello it would take to make the banefire burn? in the land if they used Jello to feed the banefire they would be slaughtering cows goats and dare i say...... Ranyhyn..they would be chased down and slaughtered for their Hooves. we have synthetic material to make Jello i think ..I hope... but not those in the land...they would kill Ranyhyn for Jello.... :D :P

seriously though....i never put the two together about linden saying Blood is life..and the sunbane using blood.....that would imply that the land is real and not only a figment of TCs subconcious, but a real place that only those necessary to its existence are allowed to go. Hile troy even served a great purpose.

so do you think that SRD is going to even out the series and give Linden six books? give her the starring role in the first three books of the last Chrons then maybe TC gets a starring role in book 10?

man...Thoolah would have a Meltdown.

I believe I read somewhere that the First Chrons are an externalization, or mirror, of TC's real world, and takes attributes of him onto itself. Since the 2nd Chrons has both TC and Linden, it makes sense that the Land at that point would be an externalization of both of them combined...

... actually, it *is* all Linden's fault, truly.
Spoiler
But I'm keeping my reason why a secret; I have another Fatal Musings on my mind.

Yes, I have Jello all over my old carcass now. Speaking of Jello instead of blood, would we then be talking about Earthjello instead of Earthblood? And Jelloguard instead of Bloodguard? I see Bannor as lemon........

I think she should have said that enamel was life.

The results would be soooo hilarious, but grueling.

If only we could get two or more people to wake up from a Land-dream and verify their experience in the Land together.

Indeed. But it seems as though these Land-dreams require you to die first to get in them...at least most of the time...
