My deepest desires are so secret not even I know what they are.
My want right now is a good night's sleep, for once (no chance though).
My whim is to go to bed within the next 20 minutes so I can get up early for an early-morning walk (also unlikely).

Just my opinion of course, but wanting money is not necessarily shallow. Unless you are looking to die on top of a pile of it, money is simply an enabler. A better question may be "For what end do you want the money?"

I want a car. I've been a stay-at-home mom for 2 years now and really, really, REALLY wish I could get out of this 3rd story apartment during the day and take my son to the park or to go feed the ducks. Also, grocery shopping at 9 pm sucks balls.

On the same note, I want a house. Apartments suck, especially with kids.

I want it to be 5:30pm right now. I want all my Czech homework to be magically finished by the time I get home. I want to find the perfect spring raincoat now, in October.

That's enough for today.

I'm with Sarge. I want to have enough money that I don't have to work for someone else anymore.

I want a full day with a car to just go out and explore places by myself with my camera and see what shots I can come up with.

A couple of hours with a masseuse wouldn't hurt, either.
