List here.

Gotta say, this is a pretty good list, though really you could include most of the dialog from all 6 films as a 'worst' moment.

Shirley.....you can see, we have posted a 'no snapping' sign.

"Damn it Jim, I'm a doctor, not a ...(pick one)....."

Classic weird 60's/70's stuff. It was a strange time to be a kid, lemme tell ya. 8O

missing two that should have been on "best"

One - Han Solo breaking the Princess out scene where he talks to central authorities ... and then blows things up and says "Boring conversation anyway!" That secene got a huge laugh everytime I saw the movie when it first came out. [I think I saw it 17 times!]

Two - a little bit later ... in the Garbage bin; Han Solo again - "What a wonderful smell you've discovered!!"

Though those scenes didn't immediately occur to me while I reviewed the list, they are somewhat glaring omisssions.

There really isn't much in the first 20-25 minutes of TESB that isn't awesome. Everything on Hoth just flat-out kicks ass.

Similarly, there isn't much that happens on Endor in TRotJ after the Ewoks are introduced that doesn't flat-out suck ass.

Reading the comments "Suck ass" and "Kick ass" associated with the original trilogy I'm left with the impression that it is your opinion that the Star Wars saga flirts with extremes of content and quality. What I'm really taken with is the similarity of each term the fact that they each have polar opposite meanings. I find it fascinating.

I've heard of the famous "Fan edited" versions of Star Wars but I wonder just what would be included if all six films were edited together to form one movie (with a running time of no longer than say 3 hours) featuring only the good things that occur.

I think it's a pretty fair statement that Lucas has issues with human dialog. Parts of Star Wars, and even Empire are just painful to listen to.

But again, I think I could make the entire Hoth sequence part of my daily routine and not get tired of it. Han's appearance at the beginning of TESB is mega-awesome.

It's no surprise that the lion's share of the best moments come from Empire, the only truly great film of the series.

I totally disagree that Fett's death was one of the worst moments, it's classic.

Every single second of the prequels would rate as a worst moment, and any shot including an ewok (excluding shots in which ewoks die) also rates as a worst moment.
