Can I still make the playoffs?

There's 6 games left, and 4 teams make the playoffs. You're currently in a tie for 6th place, 1.5 games out of 4th, and 3 games behind the 1st seed. Yes, you can still make the playoffs.

I guess what I meant was, is it probable that I will make the playoffs?

Probable? Yeah, I think so. You're projected to win 5 of your final 6 games. 8-5 usually makes it in our league.

If you pull off the victory this week, and Brinn beats Kins...then you will be in a 3 way tie for the last playoff spot with only 3 weeks to go. So, while nothing is guaranteed, a wn this week will put you in a pretty good spot to at least be in it 'til the last week to see if you can make the playoffs.

And then the following week you play Kins, and can knock him behind you in the standings...and then the following week Kins plays dANdeLION, so if you win the next few, your competition will knock themselves out of the way for you. It will still be possible to make it in with one more loss, but not guaranteed. If you win out, you should be OK.

Maybe this trade for Kurt Warner may be just the spark that you needed...you never know. It was expecially a good move for you considering that T.O. has a bye this week, so you would get no production out of him, anyway.

If the trade I proposed doesn't finalize until 11/7, will I still be able to change my lineup for Sunday's games or is it final tonight because of the Thursday night game?

As long as your QB is not active tonight (which he isn't), you should be able to take Warner from the bench and put him in your line up as your starter...as long as you do it before kickoff @ noon on Sunday.

Sounds good. Hopefully this will be the beginning of good things for me and I'll hope to make the play offs!!!

So much for that plan........

Gotta love B. Edwards and my awesome pick up of R. Rice. My defense sucked this week too. I guess now I'll just be the spoiler for others. Oh well, there is always next year!

There's still a chance. You'll have to win your last 3, and Revelstone, Jelerak, or me will have to lose our last 3. Even if you end up tied with Revelstone, you might beat him my having more total points than him. Actually, looking at the total points, I'm surprised Revelstone isn't 5-5; guess he wins his games by a small margin.

Yes I had B.Edwards in two of my other leagues and he was bad not sure wether to drop him or not.As 4 the Watchers leagueI threw my game away by making 2 bad decisions and 1 of them was choseing A.Rodgers over P.Manning (5 points 4 Rodgers and 21 for Manning) and the other dropping W McGhee after he scored me 0 points last week he goes and gets 23 points this week. So the best I can do now as Christina is be spoiler to the rest of you on the way to the playoffs.

Uhh, you do realize that in order to call yourself a spoiler, you have to win the games you play.

Yes I realize that!!! The only thing I have left is to talk smack. I'll be the winner next year.

I'll be retired next year, so that's two losses you won't have to deal with....

Why are you retiring? Getting nervous for my come back?

I say I'm going to retire every year. It hasn't taken yet, obviously, but still, I like to say I'm retiring, if only to keep the dream alive.
