Time Travel mysteries and possible plot line wrap ups

Someone asked a question a few monthes ago in another forum about how did the Lords find out about White Gold and the White Gold Wielder if White Gold had never been in the Land.

I sorta created a possible spoiler by mentioning that with Linden traveling throughout time (apparently), it's possible that in fact, she was the origin of the legends and lore concerning White Gold.

Had another thought also....

The Giants from the 1st. series lost thier way, and the familiar charts would no longer get them back home.

Is it possible that either Linden, or possibly Covenant, the Elohim, or such actually created this event for the original giants to get them to the land so that the later events would transpire, so that Foamfollower could be there to defeat Foul (at least temporarily).

I ask this, because it seems that in the 2nd Chronicles, that the later Giants had no problems finding thier way back and forth from Gianthome to the Land, to the Elohim, and any other place they wanted to go.

Presumably the Giants had 4,000 years more experience on the seas at that point...and since Starfare's Gem survives, maybe they still had charts etc etc that maybe the Unhomed lost...

Keep in mind, that Giants are much more longed lived than humans, and 4k years would only be a couple of generations for them.

Starare's Gem seems to get back and forth in the world very well, while, according to Foamfollower, all the old maps and charts ceased to be of any use to them, since when they tried to follow them, they got lost, no matter what they tried.
