That's right, the director of the most influential adult film ever made (Deep Throat) has died. He was 80.
Deep Throat was the most successful film ever made in terms of cost-to-box-office, boasting roughly a 25,000:1 ratio, whereas Titanic has a ratio of less than 10:1.
He also directed the classics The Devil in Miss Jones, Let My Puppets Come, The Satisfiers of Alpha Blue, and of course, Splendor in the Ass.
