Wow, just saw the trailer and read the synopsis.
This looks like a powerful heart wrenching film.
Has anyone seen it yet?

Saw a preview for it before (of all things) Zack and Miri Make a Porno. It looks excellent, but I don't know that I can watch it.

Oh my...
This will be hard to watch.
But...
I have a feeling this will be one of the "outings" of the Jewish community here, like Schindler's List was. Beorn and I will most definitely go if it is. This will be a movie to be experienced with your support community around you.

I've just watched this.
I highly recommend it to all. A simple story but brilliantly crafted and...well...one of the most powerful movies I've watched in a very long time.
My only criticism would be that the germans speak with an english accent. Apart from that, a 9.5 outta 10 from me!

Yes, an excellent film, although difficult to watch in places.
Jesus, it must have been hellish living through the war years, especially if you were a Jew in Europe.
