Elohimfest Southeast looks like a go!

I'm very happy to report that a rather impromptu Elohimfest has been scheduled for December 6th. Sure the gathering will be kind of small compared to some of the others in the past (we'll have about 5 Watchers in the same room at the same time!) together with a couple of
Glurpworlders that have signed on at the last minute. We'll be having breakfast at the Cracker Barrel, at about 9am, in Wesley Chapel here in Florida and then we're off to Roger's Christmas House in Brooksville. In case you are curious. My family has visited Roger's every December for the past 20 year or so.

We'll be sure to take a few pictures and share them on the watch. The Watcher's that have contacted me about the meeting are two of my fav's so it will be great to place a real face with member name and Avatar.
One thing that most Watcher's will miss out on is that at least two lucky members will actually see both dAN and myself live and in person. (for those of you who continue to believe that we are one and the same)
I'm really looking forward to it. I know I don't often interact with many of you on a personal level so this will be a rare treat for me.

No no no, TOM, and for the last time: dAN is Waddley.
Wish I could make it. Ah well, next time...

If all goes the way we hope Menolly and dlbpharmd will be joining dAN, prorider514, sweetpea, Cadzombie his mother and of course little old me.
Unfortunately there will just be enough time for a visit of a few hours. We have to drop dAN off on our way home by about 1pm. He has a band practice or a show of some kind. Maybe next time we can try to set aside a whole day and find other Watcher's to attend.

The story behind my visit is that I'm going to Orlando on 12/5 for a pharmacy meeting that actually doesn't start until 12/7, so I have the whole Saturday of 12/6 with nothing to do. So, I PM'd aTOMiC and asked if he and dAN would like to meet for lunch, and in response he told me about the day to Roger's and invited me to tag along. And, so I am.

I'm renting a car for the weekend and driving over early Saturday morning, hopefully in time for breakfast at Cracker Barrel.
Thanks again Tom for the invitation and allowing me to shoehorn myself into your family day. I'm really looking forward to it!

Thanks Lucimay. We wish everyone could join us.
Oh. I should mention that if any of you have copies of "Flower of Doom" this may be your only chance to have the book signed by both authors at once.

Hopefully I could make it also. (Hopefully is the key word)
Wesley Chapel is only 1/2 hour away for me.
Although Brooksville may be out of the question at the time.

OK, if Cheval is going to try and do Cracker Barrel, then I really need to try and make it there. Even if I am doubling my mileage by doing so...

Well that's totally not fair. I couldn't get to see the Police and now I can't even get Flower of Doom signed? What kind of a world is this?

If you want to send your copy to me, I'll be happy to have them sign it and ship it back to you...

Oh no. You'll just turn around and sell it on Ebay.

Looks like I'll need to hit the road around 7:00 am to get to Wesley Chapel by 9:00 am. Good to know.
...although...with my lead foot on the highway...
Cheval...you best be there!!

We're a little farther away than Cheval but we plan to do some shopping in the country store so we'll probably shoot for 8:00 or 8:30ish.
We'll all have to stay in contact. I'll need to know how many will be attending so that we can reserve enough seats at the table. For a few of us, breakfast will be the only time we'll have to spend together so I want to make sure we're prepared.
Since we're on a bit of a schedule we'll need to be on our way to Roger's by around 10:30 or so.

I have no idea what part of Florida you are talking about, but I suspect it is too far for me. Added to the fact that I probably couldn't get there on a Saturday, anyway.
Why does Florida have to be such a long state?

Well we're meeting generally at the "A" on the above map.

For identification purposes (you guys will likely pick out dAN long before you notice me) I submit a rather "yellow" picture from my Mom's birthday dinner back on November 17th. I'm the dork smiling like...a dork...on the right. My wife Kimberlie is in the center and my mom is on the left.
After reviewing pictures from other "fests" I have a rough idea what Menolly and dlbpharmd look like however I apologize in advance if I don't recognize either of you right away.
What is my problem? I mean it's my mom's birthday. I've got a freaking pen in my pocket like it's a business lunch.
Here is a pic from our last visit to Roger's. Don't I look more relaxed?
Prorider514 in the lower left has her "character" face on.
Chip off the old block.
