2009 New Year's Resolutions

I've been thinking about a NYR and then it dawned on me. My interjections and expressions have become a bit bleagh so to spice them up I am going to start using some new ones such as "Hood's Breath!" and "Errant take me!"

I'm also toying with quitting smoking but the first one sounds much more fun.

Anyone else got any in mind yet?

I resolve to never, even if the time machine is invented in my lifetime, come back to this rotten decade.

All resolutions/dreams are met, aside from becoming published. Will try to rectify that soon, but I doubt I'll make it my resolution. Something silly, like beat Mother 3.

Do great in my next semester, and get that Co-op at OPG (Ontario Power Generation).
Been working pretty hard at school for once in my life, and it's really paying off. Gotta keep doing it!

Apart from the usual "quit smoking" which I know I'll never do, but I tell everyone anyway, even though I don't want to quit, then no. But I will give it more thought.

Well, I did happen to tell one of my bosses this morning that I was making a New Year's resolution to no longer be a tool of The Man. (I made him sign up for a training class he didn't want to take, at which point he accused me of being said tool.

)
Hmm, serious ones? Dance at Batty's college graduation and acceptance to grad school (tho those are really more on her than on me

); continue to lose weight (aiming to have at least another 25 lbs. gone by Samhain 2009); work on getting out of debt (again...); plug the holes in the NaNo novel. That should keep me out of trouble for most of the year....

I plan to remove all the bodies stored in the crawlspace and not start a new collection.

Good plan. Wouldn't do to have the Cagling run across 'em. At least move 'em to the top shelves.
Jenn, you've inspired me. I'm thinking of adding another NYR: To announce, "Coming, Vagel!" at least once a day.

By the seven that's an excellent suggestion! I think I am going to say that every time my cell phone rings.

I've just thought of a new one - to visit this forum on a regular basis.
This topic (among others) is making me laugh.

I resolve, as I do every year, to help find the end of AIDS.

No no! Better yet, have the cell phone announce "Coming, Vagel!" instead of a ringtone!
