I don't really know what to do. I feel I have an obligation to take some serious action, but I don't know how. All I can do now is forward the e-mail to other people unless something new pops up. But I want to do more and I foresee that I will. I’ll be contacting Turiya’s mother immediately. Let’s hope and pray everything turns out all right.

I think I'm with Fist and Mhoram on this one. I don't want to involve myself in someone's personal affairs unless asked... then of course, I'd be glad to give any help I could (I have an open PM box/email add policy, so nobody should feel they're intruding or anything... on any issue). The best thing anyone can do for her is to talk her into keeping a cool head about her and out of doing something rash and dangerous. I will be hoping that things turn out for the better.

That's hard to believe. Your mother described so much in detail in that e-mail, the phone numbers to contact the police, Mayor, etc.
