Does anybody know if Donaldson has been writing anything recently? I'm a big fan of his, and so far I haven't read anything to compare with the Gap or Thomas Covenant series, so I was hoping to find out if there's any news about him...

Actually, he's working on the Last Chronicles of Thomas Covenant. I'll see if I can find the threads and bump them for you. :D

Never mind, I don't need to bump them. Check out News that sets SRD Fandom on Fire, in the Thomas Covenant Discussion Forum. 8)

well fiddlesticks and bumblebees, I have to wait a year? Though this is most certainly interesting...I thought rumors of a third chronicles were just rumors, and too good to be true. I can only hope that some of my favorite characters will be back...I never cared too much for Linden, she just wasn't that interesting to me

:LOLS: That seems to be the general sentiment, yes.

hmmmm...perhaps I can try reading those "Reed Stephens" books...but I've never been much of a fan of the "mystery" genre...are they any good?

There is not all that much of a "mystery" in them, but I like them.

Try searching for books by Stephen R Donaldson. They have been re-released now.

They are called:
The man who shot his brother
The man who risked his partner
The man who tried to get away
The man who fought alone

is that the proper order for the books?

I believe that is the proper order, however, the 1st book is called The Man Who Killed His Brother. (then again the Norwegian title may be different :D)

The books are in correct order, and Danlo is correct. The books have not been translated into norwegian yet.
