What did you get!?

As we all know, the true spirit of Christmas is feigning thankfulness as you quietly gather a horde of presents, then quickly take them to a dark corner to count all that loot.
For me, I acquired the following items:
2 clothes items (nice black sweater, and a Beatles T-shirt)
Chrono Trigger for DS
Lost Season 4
A black eel skin wallet
Some Adidas cologne gift box
I was very surprised by the wallet...didn't know they still made eel skin. Feels so much better than leather.
The best part of Xmas, for me, was when my grandmother got a cell phone holder for her phone (she really needed one), and then opened it to find 200$.
Cheers and Merry Xmas,
Lord Foul

I got the usual for this holiday.
The joy I get from seeing the rest of my family happy from my planning and cooking.
And the knowledge that I helped make the holiday even nicer for two of my Watch friends.

I got a guitar. A cheapo one, but that's ok cos I haven't played in 15 years so I don't know if I want to go on or not.
A voucher for a hopi ear candle treatment. mmmm.
A wine guide (Oz Clarke)
A cookery book (Nigel Slater)
2 'guitar for dummies' type books.
A yard of Jaffa cakes

(see below)
A top (clothing) with way too many buttons. that's fixable though!
And most bizarrely, but very appreciated, some cash towards some dental treatment from my mommy!

Those look
awesome!
And a guitar, huh? I can just picture you playing along with a group of friends around a campfire at the next Glastonbury...

Nothing at all-Tam and I decided to focus on Elora Grace and not get any thing for each other-my Dad got us a beautiful amyrillas, however. We had tamales and beans last night and put out luminarias-New Mexico traditions. It was wonderful seeing Grace ride her huge stuffed horsey, fly around in her fairy costume and play with her crazy ball. She's having a blast and thinks it's her birthday!

What i was presented includes all sorts of home made cookies, hometown chocolates, and candies, and two boxes of TasteyCakes, a shirt..and the most cherished, surprising and quickly consumed,,a jar of Wos-Wit Apple Butter,,and two bottles of A-TREAT soda pop,,one Birch Beer and the other...GOLDEN GINGER..That is special occasion. omg,, i got a little jar of Mr Mustard too. No hot dog is even near perfection with out it.
The sun just broke out from behind the all day drizzle clouds. I think the Wos -Wit Apple Butter did it.

I got some smelly bath stuff, a lovely photo collage that my step-daughters made me and some cash.
I'm fairly sure the cash is going to have to go towards a PSP. Oh yes!

Usually the wife and I direct all of our cash toward Prorider's Christmas gifts but this year we set aside a few bucks for ourselves.
I got 3 PS2 games (God of War and 2 Call of Duty in a Legacy two pack)
Dune Special edition in a metal case.
A new Sure Microphone to replace the SM57 I had been using as a vocal mic and a boom attachment for my stand. I won't have to crane my neck to sing and play guitar.
A cool Iron Man Mark I figurine (got that from dAN and a ton of assorted comics I had been missing)
I cool talking Iron Man playset with lots of snap on weapons and firing repulsor rays. (Man that's cool. Too bad I can't play with it since I just collect the toys. It comes with batteries so I'm faced with the dilema of how to get the batteries out before I place it on display without wrecking the box.)
I got lots of chocolates.
AND since Prorider got a new drum set I get the old one.
aTOMiC did pretty well this year. I'm far too blessed to be worthy of it all.

Don't let his modesty fool you! Tom's a selfish bastard who's secretly plotting our demise.

*Amazon gift certificate from my attorneys (whoo hoo, I can finally get a Kindle!...someday...when it's no longer backordered...)
*IOU from Batty and Magickmaker -- they're planning to do their shopping in Italy in a couple of weeks (hard to argue with that!)
*A book on Slavic mythology and a DVD of scenes from the Czech Republic set to music by Czech composers (Dvorak and Smetana). I wanted the mythology book but the DVD was kind of a gag gift.

My Wife and I gave ourselves an early gift. I quit my job mid November (new owners, they suck, blah, blah...) so I suddenly had time to remodel the kitchen and that's what we did for ourselves. The kids and grandkids were here for Thanksgiving looking at the old outdated crapola kitchen and were totally taken aback yesterday at what we'd done! (We kept making excuses why they couldn't come by, they had no clue!) Took almost a month now I need to get back to work! I have some things lined up after the new year, it looks good... the grandkids got spoiled as usual, of course!
