You know what a 'Nom' moment is. It's a moment like the one in the Second Chronicles that prompts you (or me, at least, and I know I'm not alone) to put the book down for a moment and whisper words to the effect of "No. <insert expletive>. Way."
So what Nom moments do you remember from the Gap?
I've only read the series once, and that was a couple of years ago now, but I remember one quite distinctly: 'Give your command codes to Nick Succorso.'

Definitely. I have only read the series once - I remember more of a constant building of tension and pressure from events - a lot of "uh <expletive> - ok, what's next".When you find out Morn is pregnant.
When Milos Taverner is injected with mutagens.
Nick is given Angus' command codes.
But Nom moments? Like others, the biggest - "Give your commands to Nick Succorso"
