I was born on a Sunday... according to Wikipedia I share my birthday with the poet John Butler Yeats, Josef Mengele ( 8O ), Jerry Lewis, the Italian director Bernardo Bertolucci, the Dragonlance author Margaret Weis, comic book artist Todd McFarlane, and Pirates of the Caribbean director Gore Verbinski.

It also says that people who died that day included the Roman emperor Nero and Italian composer Pergolesi... and as for historical events, it was the day the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem in 597 BC, the day of the Battle of Boroughbridge for Scottish independence in 1322, the day the first Native American made contact with the Mayflower pilgrims, the day Hitler ordered Germany to rearm itself in violation of the Versailles treaty, the day the Battle of Iwo Jima ended, the day Italian politician Aldo Moro was kidnapped, and the day Pope John Paul II apologized for the Church's silence during the Holocaust...

Was trying to remember this... but had to google...

Mondays child is fair of face,
Tuesdays child is full of grace,
Wednesdays child is full of woe,
Thursdays child has far to go,
Fridays child is loving and giving,
Saturdays child works hard for his living,
And the child that is born on the Sabbath day
Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay.

I'm a Sunday child, but I refute the accusation that I'm gay and will be consulting a lawyer over this slanderous slur on my sexuality.

Phantasm, you will never be happy until you accept, and embrace, who and what you are. Be thrilled to be you! Be thrilled by every aspect of who you are!

Heh. Yeah. I've been accused of many things in my life, but Grace is not among them.

However, as it turns out, my Egyptian sign is Osiris. I live on Lake Osiris Road. Coincidence?? I think not!

Born on the same day as Benny Hill and Plácido Domingo (good company, IMO) :D

I'm a yew in Celtic, Amon Ra in Egyptian, and an Ocelot in Aztec astrology.
Cool...

Ah...
And that was the day in 1977 President Carter pardoned nearly all American draft dodgers. A very good day all around (I'll just ignore the things in history that happened on that day that I see as negatives). :D

Hmm.

Roses are Red (my love) was the number one song the day I was born. That I didn't know.

I share a birthday with Petrarch, Carlos Santana, Sir Edmund Hillary and the Crown Prince of Norway.

Friday's child, I am.

Oh, and my next Martian Birthday is on July 27.... I hope you all remember. :P

I'm a Saturday baby, too. Works hard for a living -- yeah, yeah.... ;)

I was born on a full moon! 8O That's pretty cool!

I share a birthday with:
1545 - Henry Stuart, Lord Darnley, consort of Mary I of Scotland (d. 1567)
1905 - Gerard Kuiper, Dutch-born American astronomer (d. 1973)
1924 - Mário Soares, President of Portugal
1949 - Tom Waits, American singer, composer, and actor
2003 - Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands

Senator John F. Kennedy was on the cover of Time magazine that week.

On my birth date in 1944, the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor.

I was born in the Celtic month of hornbeam (also known as ironwood), the Aztec month of Eagle, and the Egyptian month of Osiris. And I'm 27 in Martian years.

Yeah, the doctor wanted to get you out of the way early in the week.

And that explains your penchant for banging on tables with a shoe!

Interesting, my middle name means grace and I'm a total klutz.

My Time magazine cover says "BANG!" on it, and has a picture of a supernova. I love supernovas! Awesome. :)

Interesting people born on the same day as me:
1596 - René Descartes, French mathematician (d. 1650)
1732 - Joseph Haydn, Austrian composer (d. 1809)
1948 - Al Gore, Vice President of the United States

In celtic astrology my sign is willow (which happens to be my favorite sort of tree).
In Egyptian astrology, my sign is Isis, who I always thought was pretty cool.
In Chinese astrology, my sign is the rabbit of fire. I have a pet rabbit, and I'm a pyro, so that fits pretty well.

On Mars I'm 11.6. I'm only 1.8 on Jupiter. 35.5 on Venus, 90.8 on Mercury, 0.74 on Saturn, 0.26 on Uranus, 0.13 on Neptune, and 0.088 on Pluto.

The moon was a waxing crescent the night I was born.

1829 - Geronimo, Apache leader (d. 1909)

Then you get THIS lot...
1941 - Aldrich Ames, CIA officer and spy for the Soviet Union

I'm 25.3 Martian years old, but get this...I'm only 0.56 years old on Uranus! :haha:

Exalted company you keep, Elfgirl!

The only name on my birthday list that means anything to me is novelist John le Carre, which is nice.

Also, in my year Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn won the Nobel Prize.

On the day I was born, the #1 song in the US was the Jackson Five's "I'll Be There."

My Time cover has an image of Chile's Salvador Allende, with the headline text: "Matrixman Threat In The Americas." Oops. I meant "Marxist."
