Darkwood--Map

Apologies for the great simplicity, but I can do precious little more than check my email, post comments, and play games..I'm so non-techie.

OK, the area yellow circled is where we'll be focusing at first.

The big green blob is The Darkwood

The sickly yellow-green thing south of the Darkwood is the swamp called Rozaa's Reek.

Everything north of the big river and west of that dotted red line is the Kingdom of Sverdhame (Swordhome) That grey thing on the Western border is teh north part of the Shield of Valkhan mountain range.

South of the river is the Darelline Confederacy. The light green splotchy area within the dotted light green line is the region where halflings predominate. It is part of the Confederacy.

The southern half of the Shield range is home to the kingdom of the Deepening Glory dwarf clans.

the red dots are about 3 foot tall figures with melee weapons in hand....the purple ones are the man-sized ones with longbows. Blue X is person who warned everyone....yellow is Marrik, orange is Beauregard, blue is Laurel, green is Hardy the pony.

the thing with the number 1 on it it the huge tree stump I mentioned.

green blobs are trees.

5' per square

a black X through denotes dead things. the final kobold (red dot) is screaming and running like hell to the south.

Yellow x is Marrik

Blue X is Skyseeker

Grey is the ridge itself

green blobs are trees

Brown chunks are wagons (or remnants of)

light green things are dead horses (or primary chunks of)

light blue is dead people (or largest chunks thereof)

Orange is Beau

Purple is Vynarkus (had to change, too close in color to dead horse green)

Blue next to Marrik is Laurel

black behind Laurel is pack pony

Big Blue is unknown...brown blotch with green ring is a BIG tree, Beauregard is currently hiding up in it.

GOld Squares are impalement spikes..gold X's are stakes for burning people at. no one is combusting right now, but they have clearly seen recent use...they all got knocked down by the raiders pulling the wagons in (big brown things)

grey stripey-thing is the path beaten down by many orcs walking it repeatedly...

green stippling is dense grass and high weeds....decent concealment. solid green blobs are trees.

black bordered red things are buildings

red thing to the LEFT of the Big Blue is the leadership housing

Red thing below that is the kobold house

the big red one is main orc lair.

blue dot is Laurel

Yellow dot is Marrik

Blue X is Skyseeker

Orange dot is Beauregard (yes, he's up in the tree, well Hidden)

Purple dot is Vynarkus.

Yellow x behind MArrik in leadership hut is Darak the dwarf

Puple dot in pen is new friend, Garm Thunderstroke

Light blue dots in pen are regular folks (no real character levels) who
are going to be fighting.

Light Green dot is Worg

grey dot is human, in Brestplate, with a halberd.

red X is orc in chainmail with longbow

red dot is regular orc

red \ is kobold---2 of them are on the wagons, and not easy to see the \ on this map...one is on the wagons, one square LEFT of the Human..the other is one square diagonal northeast of the human.

oh..the several blue friendlies hanging out in the pen are protecting a coupe of unconscious severely wounded folks from the caravan raid, that's why they are not out fighting.

No enemies are visible as yet...Yes, I rolled Spot checks.

the series of light blue dots around the south tree are the horses.

Party is by red thing (the portal) at the south side...the new Frusvolk are the gold square (Hi Sigrid!) and the three warriors denoted by different colored Xs.
