Anna, please remember that you have a character in Dark Ages that you should go post as sometimes. The more players post, the more likely I am to get hyped and post back.

It's like any romance... the more you give attention, the more you'll get attention. And once the romance ends, both sides get bored and leave.

And it IS a nice boulder. I think I have every inch of that boulder memorized for AS LONG AS I HAVE BEEN STARING AT IT. *cough cough hack hack*

While the players have been staring at it since may, technically your character has only been looking for... 6 seconds.

Though, I imagine a sort of Bugs Bunny thing, where the characters stop and have a coffee break mid-scene (or the enemies stop and chat before clocking in for the day).

Anybody seen that scene in The Big Hit, where all the other assassins are just sitting back having coffee and firing off shots at random, while Marky Mark actually does the whole job in the next room, thinking they're busy killing people in their room too?

I love that movie.

We've been looking at it long enough to know it's not doing anything interesting and long enough to get bored and sit down and crochet.

But yeah, we're all sitting around, staring glumly at the sky, waiting for the Magic Man In The Sky that throws monsters and loot at us.

The best part is that you're all sitting there on a moving carpet. It never stopped... everyone just turned their head at the same time and glared at the rock... this insanely long moment in time.

OK, first of all...apologies for long hiatus. RL stuff. There has been a (loathe though I am to admit it) necessary intervention.

So, Kalindriel is walking on the side of a great highway.

From behind her, a large flying carpet appears on the horizon, and eventually pulls up beside her. On the carpet is a sort of billowy tent thing, with long flowing drapes. On the carpet are Sigrid, Annalysei, and Sorchat.

Sorchat leans out of the carpet and says, "Hey baby, would you like to ride on my carpet?"

Kalindriel replies, "I don't know. Does your carpet match your drapes?"

[Gawds, I'm so funny.]

So if Kali lands the tickle does Sorchat change colors a la Randall in Monsters Inc? Plaid, polka dot, stripes, stars? Because I'd really like to see that.

@Goat - I have a fried who is a natural redhead. She says it's appalling how often she gets asked that question. I just replied "....and?..." to which she said "You asshole."

I don't think I've ever been asked. I'm a strawberry blonde though. Maybe it's not as enticing as someone with bright red hair.

Yeah, her hair is bright red.

So... did she ever say?
