Well, that's the first trophy of the season on its way to Ibrox, after a pulsating league cup final which saw Rangers reduced to 9 men against a battling St Mirren side, and still go on to score a winner 10 minutes from time.

How the hell did Rangers win that game? :?:

Yes indeedie, makes it hard for Scottish teams in Europe.

As for Hibernian, their 108 year wait to win the Scottish cup is not yet over - They were beaten 2-1 bt 1st division Ross County in their Quarter final replay.

Barcelona 4-1 win over Arsenal in Champions League Quarter Final. That's impressive, with Messi scoring all 4 goals.

Barcelona look amazing with their passing - it also could get them into trouble, they seem to over-do it from time to time.

Looking forward to the semi's!

That must rank as one of the biggest upsets in Scottish Cup history.

Celtic 0 - 2 Ross County.

Ross County, from the first division beat Celtic in the Scottish Cup semi final.

I reckon they have their best chance in a long time this time around. (I also love it that USA and England are in the same group - should be a good one - he he!)

Well, since the last post in here, Aberdeen went into freefall, sacked their manager and just avoided relegation.

Signs of improvement for this season though.

Attended the Scotland v Czech Republic game on Saturday - we were robbed of a win by a Dutch ref who needs to visit an optician very soon. Gave them a last minute penalty when there was no contact in the box, Czech player dived. Then we were denied a penalty a minute later even though there was contact.
Final score 2-2, and Scotland all but out of contention for a play off place.

Off to see Scotland v Lithuania tomorrow. Should be a win, but we have a few injuries and suspensions after Saturdays game.
