Krod Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire

Anybody catch this? I was half expecting it to be awful, but it was actually pretty funny. It's not Monty Python, but it's watchable. Fortunately, they seem to be lampooning the source material like Xena or Legend of the Seeker rather than the shows' target demographic. Perhaps someone is realizing that dorks (krods?) like us have a sense of humor, and it doesn't have to be all Lord of the Rings or escapist cheese all the time. The Terry Pratchett market, basically.
The question, I think, is whether the jokes will get old or if they'll keep trying to improve it. I think they'd do well to try to add some more wit to it (referring back to Pratchett). More Daily Show and less Reno 911 (no, Reno and the RPD are nothing like that show) would be good.
Thursdays at 10 on Comedy Central, I believe.
