I looked through the Help and the FAQ but can't find an answer, checked my options on my profile and cant find the answer, even searched the word SPOILER (got lots of hits but no solutions) so I am asking something that is probably right in front of my nose.....

How do I get rid of those damn black bars? I feel like I am reading the abridged version of EVERYTHING.

Poor lorin! Just highlight the black bars with your cursor and the spoilered words will show.
