After Sleepy Hollow and that Music Video Walken was in, I don't think I could take him seriously in that role anymore

I don't remember a sword fight between Foul and Covenant, but hey, certainly sounds like something Hollywood would do....

No! Not true!
I loved sleepy hollow!!!!!
I mean, think about this: in 1931, Roeben Mamoulian adapted "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hide" to film... granted, the story had already been fleshed out on stage and in a couple of silents, but essentially what Mamoulian did was take a bare bones story and draw it out into an elaborate fantasy with romantic elements, and dialog that brought in very interesting concepts about God and human nature.
Now...
I see Tim Burton as having done the exact same thing with "the Legend of Sleepy Hollow" which was a bare bones story!
And Christopher Walken...
Wow, how could you not take this seriously?
Truly, for me anyway, this was one of cinema's finest moments since 1931!
